Volotea develops its offer in Nantes with 4 new routes and a new aircraft based

Volotea, the airline of European regional capitals continues its development in Nantes, its first base in France. With 4 new routes and the arrival of a new aircraft, the company is expanding its fleet and showing its desire to support employment and the local economy. First in terms of destinations but also in number of seats, the company intends to boost Nantes' connectivity with these new routes.


Present in Nantes since the start of its operations in 2012, Volotea offers 4 new destinations and passes the milestone of 50 destinations.

As of today, 4 new routes are available:

An exclusive destination to Greece: Kalamata, capital of Messenia, a small seaside town known for its fertile land and its production of olive oil, will be accessible every Tuesday from May 30, 2023.

Two new destinations to Portugal: From September 24, the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, will be connected every Thursday and Sunday. Ideal for enjoying long weekends in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

World famous for its eponymous wine, Porto, nestled on the steep valley of the Douro, conceals a multitude of architectural riches and a picturesque old town. Between vineyards and ocean, Nantes residents will be able to enjoy the Indian summer from September 22, 2023 with flights on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Marrakech - will also complete the company's offer, in order to satisfy the inhabitants of the region wishing to escape. Between tradition and modernity, the ocher city is the promise of incomparable sensations. Strolling around the Jemaa El-Fna square and in the souks with shimmering colors and oriental smells, the red city responds to the desire for a change of scenery. Marrakech will be offered every Tuesday and Saturday from September 23, 2023.
